How to Use Non-Toxic Paint Stripper Remover
For paint removal of thin layers of modern oil paints or clear finishes such as varnishes, shellacs, lacquers, or synthetics, a solvent is recommended.
It makes a thick, easily applied cream that dissolves up to eight layers of old paint with one application. There are no toxic fumes, acids, or fire hazards, and difficult scraping is eliminated.
Ingredients and Product Information
Keep this paint remover away from aluminum, clothing, plastics, linoleum, leather, and soft goods. Use it at a temperature of at least 65 degrees – the warmer the temperature the quicker the action. Half Gallons contains 1 pound of powder, enough to make a half gallon. Gallon size contains two pounds of powder to make a gallon.
Contains sodium carbonate and calcium hydroxide. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. In cases of eye contact, flush freely with water. If swallowed, give water or milk. Call a physician.

Directions
Mix one part Milk Paint Remover with two parts of cold water. Pour powder into the water while stirring. Stir well then allow the mixture to sit for ten minutes. After setting, stir the resulting paste into a workable cream. Apply a thick, uniform coating over the old paint using a nylon brush. Apply product in a warm area, with an ambient temperature of 65ºF or warmer. Milk Paint Remover will not function as well at colder temperatures.
Stripping time may be from fifteen minutes to three hours depending on ambient temperature and the number and thickness of the paint being stripped. If the paint remover dries during stripping, reactivate by spraying a light mist of water. Test with a moist cloth, when the original wood surface can be seen, push most of the paint sludge away with steel wool pads and warm water. Make a slurry with any remaining paint and wash the surface clean.
